In the Ayurvedic articles impressive description of the historical backgrounds are given reflecting the glory of Ayurvedic system of medicine like in the fields child care, maternal care, poisons and poisoning, methods of patient examination and diagnosis etc. Articles on identification and use of some important and useful drugs mentioned in the Ayurvedic classics is an important feature of the journal. Publication of Good articles containing clinical trials proving the success of some herbal (Classical Ayurvedic) formulations is a noble work done by the publisher.
Some case studies containing the experience of the authors also inspire the readers. There are also impressive articles on the effects of some non invasive measures for maintenance of sound health like fasting.

Opinion
Writing on the Ayurvedic concepts on certain diseases reflecting the glory of the system. Some articles explore some interesting facts on some important points like vaccine. Review articles on the concept of skin in Ayurveda, management of old age are increasing the beauty of the journal. Scientific writings on Analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of Papaver Rhoeas L., Medicinal use of Carica Papaya , medicinal properties of Anemone Pulsatilla, useful properties of Adonis Vernalis etc. are also very impressive.
It is also to be admired that, there are also beautiful articles on the present need of standardization, scientific evaluation, and clinical trial of the Ayurvedic drugs /formulations. This is always important to establish concepts of a system.
With the short description highlighting the contents of the published issues of JONAM to say “a good quality standard journal carrying the light of ancient knowledge and concepts with an aim to spread the scientific message for the benefit of the human society” will definitely not be an aggravated statement.
Hope bright future of the journal.
