Biography

Shun Cheng Chang, Stephan, he was born on 01-Mar-1972. His nationality is Republic of China (Taiwan). He was graduated at national defense medical center in Taipei in 1997; getting M.D. He received complete general surgery and plastic surgery training in Tri-service general hospital in Taipei from 1999 to 2005. After training, he was appointed ambassador to Small Island and small town to attendance of the attending physician of plastic surgery to 2007. He had ever joined the fellowship of plastic surgery and hyperbaric oxygen therapy in San Diego and Hawaii, U.S. in 2008 and 2009. After returning to Taiwan, he took on the attending physician of plastic surgery and hyperbaric oxygen therapy in Tri-service general hospital until July, 2015. He also joined several clinical studies and research grants and published papers. In 2014, he passed the committee and served as an assistant professor in our surgical division of the hospital and medical school, national defense medical center. Since Aug. 2015, he retired from the military service. He was served as the Attending physician (Chief), Division of Plastic Surgery, Department of Surgery, Hyperbaric oxygen center, Shuang-Ho hospital, New Taipei City, Taiwan and assistant professor, School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Taipei Medical University. Simultaneously, he was also took on the Adjunct attending physician (Consultant Plastic Surgeon), Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Hyperbaric oxygen center, Tri-Service General Hospital (TSGH), Taiwan, R.O.C. and Adjunct Assistant professor, School of Medicine, National Defense Medical Center, Taiwan, R.O.C. Recently, he focus on the management of diabetic foot ulcer and reconstruction of limbs clinically and the basic research of matriptase and prostasin in acute and chronic wounds. He also published 3-5 papers every year recently. He also join the association of Undersea and Hyperbaric Oxygen and Burn and Wound Care in Taiwan. In the future, he will organize a clinical team to perform the versatile all-around care of diabetic foot ulcer for management of all difficult wounds.
