Tian Jye Hsieh had been employed as a full-time teacher and academic researcher at Fooyin University since 2003. Over the years, as of July 2017, a total of 30 academic journals (including SCI Journals) and 54 symposium papers have successfully been issued. He served as one of principal investigators for a total of 33 research projects of Ministry of Science and Technology, Hakka Affairs Council, Ministry of Economic, and Ministry of Education. A total of 18 patents have successfully been obtained while 48 medals including 12 gold medals, 7 silver medals, 2 bronze medals, 3 special awards, and 1 champion obtained from Ukraine International Salon of Inventions and New Technologies, Warsaw International Invention Competition, Genius Inventions Exposition in Tokyo, Macao International Innovation and Invention Expo, Hong Kong International Invention & Design Competition. He had been selected to induct to the International Invention Hall of Fame and Health Care & Biotechnology Merit Award and International Outstanding Inventor Achievement Award & Honorary Academician of Ukraine.
