Dislocation Neglected congruity
Abstract

The sub talar or peri-astragalian dislocation is a loss of the anatomical relations between the astragales, calcaneum and scaphoid. The congruity of the tibioperoneo-astragales joint is maintained. It is a rare lesion that accounts for 1% of all dislocations. Internal variety is by far the most frequent.

Introduction

The sub talar or peri-astragalian dislocation is a loss of the anatomical relations between the astragales, calcaneum and scaphoid. The congruity of the tibio- peroneo-astragales joint is maintained. It is a rare lesion that accounts for 1% of all dislocations. Internal variety is by far the most frequent. We report a case of internal subtalar dislocation associated with calcaneo-cuboidal dislocation, neglected for 21 days, in a 25-year-old patient.

Image Article

The clinical examination showed a deformation of the mid-tarsal region in forced inversion, without skin lesions. The radiological assessment showed an internal subtalar dislocation (astragalo-calcaneal and astragalo- scaphoid) associated with a calcaneo-cuboidal dislocation. The treatment was surgical by a triple percutaneousracking: talo-calcaneal, talo-navicular and calcaneo-cuboidal. Functional results were satisfactory After removal of equipment and rehabilitation.
