Abstract

Illicit fuel handling on offshore support vessels remains a persistent financial and governance challenge for Malaysias oil and gas sector. This study examines whether IoT based Fuel Monitoring Systems can reduce unaccounted fuel losses, improve operational transparency, and deliver a measurable return on investment within the Petronas contractor ecosystem.
