Md. Alamgir Hossain PhD is serving as a Professor in the Department of Entomology with more than 26 years of academic experiences in the field of Entomology. He served as a Chairman of the Department of Entomology of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science Technology University. Dr. Hossain joined in this university in 1998 and working as a faculty. He is currently emphasizing his research interest on IPM especially on storage pests, biological control and organic agriculture. He is able to conduct his academics and research activities on climate smart insect pest management approaches in Agriculture. He has published more than 80 popular scientific articles in peer reviewed journals especially entomological and has contributed in different scientific conferences in home and abroad. He is also a life member of different professional societies. As a part of academic activities he has visited to China, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Qatar, and India.
