Vera Antonova was Born in Sofia (Bulgaria), on 24 May 1977. She Took Her Masters Degree In Biology at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski (1996-2001), Sofia, Bulgaria. The PhD Degree in Ecology And Environmental Protection She took in 2007 at Central Laboratory of General Ecology, Bulgarian Academy Of Sciences, Sofia, Bulgaria. V. Antonova Is A Specialist in Taxonomy and Ecology and Urban Ecology of Ants (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) with 31 Publications and 207 Citations. Additional Scientific Interests are Invasive Insects, Urban Ecology, Social Interactions among Ant Species; and Conservation of Protected Vertigo Species Land Snails (Gastropoda Terrestria). V. Antonova was Involved in 22 Scientific Projects Concerning Ecology and Systematics of Invertebrates, and Nature Conservation at the Bulgarian National Science Fund Ministry of Education and Science Inter Academy Projects with Polish and Romanian Academies of Sciences Ministry of Environment and Water-Bulgaria Etc. She is a Reviewer for 12 Journals.
