Abstract

The article presents materials related to the reflection in phaleristics, on thematic icons of human skin, its structure and function. A significant number of thematic badges are presented - 65 copies, the obverse of which is colorfully decorated with screenshots of drawings dedicated to the structure of human skin.

Introduction

Studying a different range of issues related to medicine and its history is always a relevant and in demand process. If you try to combine medical disciplines such as anatomy and physiology with such an area of collecting as phaleristics (collecting awards, thematic badges and signs, brooches), you can get a fairly large selection of collectible materials. In particular, in this author’s research article, a number of phaleristic materials are presented, thematically devoted to dermatology and the skin, its appendages, their structure and functioning. When preparing this research article, the author did not find any of the thematic articles, either in medical professional publications or on the websites of skin collectors. Its structure and functioning. In this regard, we can safely consider this original research article to be exclusive and the first in this area of research.

Aim of Study

The purpose of this research, author’s article is the presentation of the found collection research materials, thematically devoted to both dermatology and the image of the skin, its structure, and skin appendages (hair, sebaceous and sweat glands) in the reflection of phaleristics, on thematic badges.

Material and Methods

When writing this original research article, the author used the method of literary critical analysis of all available sources of information, both domestic and foreign. The most actively used Internet resources were related to dermatology and collecting, in particular, faleristics. As a result of a significant search work, collections of thematic badges (65 copies in total) dedicated to dermatology and human skin were selected. All obtained illustrative images were converted by the author of the article into screenshots. At the same time, all illustrations in the “List of Sources” section have links to places where they were borrowed on the Internet, in order to comply with requirements related to copyright compliance. Results and Discussion

I would like to start my story about dermatology and human skin, in reflection of phaleristics, by presenting a selection of thematic badges (25 copies) dedicated to such a medical discipline as dermatology and the profession of a dermatologist. So, in Figure 1, this collection of icons is presented [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10].

In the next Figure 2, a large selection of thematic icons is presented, dedicated to the structure of human skin and its appendages (hair, sebaceous and sweat glands), which

presents 40 copies of these icons, including a selection of icons depicting the histology of the structure of the skin and appendages [11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25].

This concludes the research, author’s, thematic article devoted to the reflection in phaleristics, on badges, the anatomical and histological structure of human skin. The author is preparing materials for new research on the structure of various human organs and systems, as reflected in phaleristics, on badges.

Conclusion

  1. The author of this article managed, quite fully, informatively and colorfully, to reveal the purpose of the article.
  2. Presented in the form of illustrations, screenshots of thematic icons dedicated to the anatomy and histology of human skin, quite informatively and exclusively, complemented the materials of this article.
  3. Such a means of collecting as faleristics can be used quite fully, informatively and colorfully in the preparation of research articles in almost any medical discipline.
