Zakariya Al-Salam is a consultant neonatologist at Oasis Hospital, Al Ain, UAE since June 2015. Currently, he is the Head of Pediatrics and Neonatology Department. He is a neonatologist with special interest in hemodynamics, research, evidence based practice, training, education and quality. He conducts clinical research and database review and epidemiological study. He is a peer reviewer and member of advisory boards of scientific journals. Before moving to UAE, he was the Head of Neonatal Medicine, Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship program and Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee at Prince Sultan Military Medical City. He also holds paediatric board (Arab, Saudi, Jordanian, MRCPCH) and Fellowship of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and Master of Pediatrics (Basic Sciences) - University of Alberta-Canada and FRCPCH (UK). His main mission now is to establish new level three NICU.
